    Thanks for your feedback.

    To begin with, have you upgraded or installed the most recent version of this plugin i.e. version 1.1?

    If so, go to admin page, under the Settings menu, you should see a submenu called “Insert Footnote”, click on this submenu.

    Then, you will see a text box that said “Enter text here..”, put any text you want to place at the end of all posts in this text box and click Save Options button.

    I did that. But how does that get put into a post to identify a note identifying the source of the content statement such as referencing a quote from a law journal review or something like. Did I misunderstand what the purpose of a footnote was for? Thanks.

    This plugin could not do what you are looking for. It can only just put any text at the bottom of every post. That’s it. Sorry for the confusion.
