Insert from URL looses its "insert into post" box

I have narrowed this down to an issue where I have a plugin that adds the hide-toolbar class to a div in the add-media popup for the visual editor. The problem is that when i switch back to the insert from url tab in the media uploader it does not remove that class, and I have to switch to another tab and back. Is there some filter or hook i can use to add some jquery to modify that class on click? is there a better way to fix this bug? It may seem trivial but this is for a client site and everything should work flawlessly.
