I have a table wioth 481 rows and i have to add images to colums as well. I am trying to automatically generate the image file location so I dont have to manually add it but I am unable to figure out where wp-image-xxxx is coming from ? if i remove this and keep everything else will images still show up in table ?

Note: images are already uploaded to the hosting. I would like to add the images path on hosting to one of the columns and then upload the sheet so its lot less work for me.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

That wp-image-12406 is a CSS class that WordPress automatically adds here. The number basically is the unique ID of the image in the WordPress media library. You could use this CSS class to style that image with individual/special CSS code. So, if you don’t need that (which you probably don’t), you can indeed just leave this CSS class out.

I tried adding the image link to excel before importing to the table. But it somehow doesnt work. Either, the image definitely needs that css class or there may be some hack to get it to work.

WHen i enter above in excel column and upload, the image doesnt show in preview

when manually slecting the column and inserting image via the GUI of plugin, things work as they should.

    Hi,

unfortunately, it’s not possible to insert images in Excel and have them imported – the only way for that would be if you paste in exactly that HTML code from above into the table cell.

Interesting thing is, I pasted the link above and its showing the image in the message box above but in table its not showing it. I wonder why.

    Hi,

Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

it worked, when i uploaded the images to wordpress, there was whitespace in the file name and wordpress added a “-” instead of whitespace. hence it was not working. thanks for listening and helping ??
