insert image from media library not showing wp 2.7.1 but URL

    HI, I have a problem inserting an image from the library in my posts.
    It just show me the Text but no image at all, it is not a template problem as it does the same with the default as well, the only way of showing an image is to use the simple url method <img src=”https://mysite/myimage.jpg&#8221; alt=”” /> code but not practical, while if I select an image that I have uploaded to my Media Library does not just work, anyone?
