Insert Image Hangs

Hi,

When I try to insert an image, the progress bar pop’s up and the barber pole moves – forever! It just hangs at that point.

I had installed the Nextgen plugin and thought perhaps it was the problem. But I removed it and the issue remains.

My search showed people have had similar issues with older versions, but none that I saw indicated what the solution was – except to step back to 2.3. Not an option!

Any suggestions?
