    Hi,

After your last update, when I insert an image to the table it starts now with <img tabindex=”-1″ id=”longdesc-return-….” (before it was <img src=”…).

The fact, and the problem, is that now it shows the image description on the page, something like an small icon. I really do not want this description to be shown and to be read by the website visitors. I no doubt prefer the old system…

How can I remove it? Thank you!

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

The output for this image HTML code is not directly controlled by TablePress, but by the WordPress Media Library (and any plugins that hook into that to modify it).

I can’t seem to replicate this exact HTML that you are getting (with tabindex and id attributes for the <img> tag), so that I can only assume that these are coming from somewhere else.

Now, if the image has a description, you would be seeing an additional [caption ...] Shortcode wrapper around the <img> tag, but that would be the normal and expected behavior.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    I’ll check deeper on that.

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress in the plugin directory. Thanks!
