“Insert into post” button not working in Add Media

  • After updating to WordPress 5.1, the “Insert into post” button has stopped working on the Add Media library page. I click on it, but nothing happens.

    BUT when the Add Media page is open in the Media Library and I right-click on it to bring up the “Inspect” function to check the code — then I can use “Insert into post” as usual…it works just fine. But only when I have the “Inspect” window open as well.

    Anyone else experiencing this issue?

    It can be some sort of theme or plugin conflict here.

    Can you please check by deactivate plugins and activating them one by one or else try switching to some default theme.
