  • Hi there! To add a menu to the footer, you can use the new Site Editor that arrived in WordPress 5.9. When you’re inside of any page template that includes a footer, you should see a “Footer” option in the top dropdown as shown in the video below. From there, you can use a Navigation block to place and customize the menu to your liking.

The theme also includes a number of pre-designed Footer block patterns you can insert there if you’d like. Some of those include menus:

    Thank you! this was helpful.

A few more questions about the menu if you can help:
    1. How to insert a menu title above the menu?
    2. If I insert several menus, they come one under another and make the page look clumsy and long. How do I organize menus in the shape of columns to have, for example, three columns with a menu in each column in the footer.

As a side note, it would be good to have a tutorial for 2022 theme, as I find it hard to learn after working with 2021 theme.

In the Site Editor, you can add add blocks wherever you wish. To add a title above your menu, just add a Heading block before your Navigation block. If you’d like to separate menus out into columns, add a Columns block, and place a Navigation block in each column.

The concept of the Site Editor is very new — if you’re interested in learning more about how to use it, this resource might be of use to you:
