inserted links are not working and photos insert wrong

When I try to insert a link in the text, it doesn’t work. The box comes up, I put in the address and save and…it’s not there.

Also having problems with picture inserting in the wrong place.

Is anyone else having issues with this new editor? It’s terrible!! Would not have chosen WordPress if this were in place when I started.
