When I try to insert 1 image in a post from a gallery and I have multiple images (fe: 3 columns) in this gallery, I can go to the next column for the other images. But, in my case, the same images as in the thirst column keep showing up. I have checked the gallery, its is fine and the correct images are showing up in here.
I had made a list in Lightroom: image1, image2 etc and the normal image names, but it makes no diverence. The gallery’s are showing correctly, no problem.

@cl56web – Can you share a link to the page/post where you are seeing this issue?

    Thanks!

No, I’m sorry, it is in the backend. When I want to get a picture not from the original picture-Library, but from the galleries.

@cl56web – Can you describe your workflow that leads up to the issue you are seeing? There may be a clue in that we can use to help you with.

    Thanks!

    Hello Cais,
    thank you for your response.

If I have a post I can import an image from the image library, here there is no problem.
Because of the many different images I got the NextGEN gallery to sort out the different images in folders.
When I now want to import an image in a post, I have two possibilities: to import from the normal imagelibrary, but also from a NextGEN gallery.
I click on the link ‘NextGEN Gallery’ and then I can choose the gallery where I have put the image in. This all works fine. If this gallery only consist of 10 images, I have no problem, only 1 column will be shown, with these 10 images, and I can choose.

But…, if I have 22 images in that gallery, I get a navigation bar (PREVIOUS-1-2-3-NEXT) on top.
Now I want to choose (for example the fifteenth image), I have to select the next (second) column for that image. But they don’t show up, only the first 10 images (from 1) keep showing up, repeating themselfs (1-10). If I could sent printscreens it would be easier to explane. Thanks! Clem

@cl56web – Thanks for the screen captures and more importantly the link to the site (provided this is the site where you are having the issue).

I would suggest checking for conflicts, especially in how any caching plugin/service might be affecting these operations.

Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins, clearing your browser cache (and site caches if you are using a caching plugin), then reactivating the NextGEN plugin?

If this fixes the problem then it was likely one of the deactivated plugins that was causing an issue. Now, retrace your steps activating each plugin and re-checking to see if the problem returns. If it does then that last activated plugin was probably the one. Keep reactivating and in most cases it is also best to keep checking after each plugin, sometimes there may be more than one plugin on a site that will create an issue. If you do find one (or more) plugins causing this problem we would greatly appreciate your feedback on them so the developers may address them as soon as they can.

Also to note, in rare cases it may be the theme itself that is causing a conflict so while you have just the NextGEN plugin activated you might consider temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress Twenty series themes, in this case, try the Twenty Fourteen theme itself (just in case your child-theme is involved) and see if this corrects the issue as well.

If the problem still persists after all of this we would still want to know, even more so, as we will still want to sort out the issue and may need additional details.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
