Inserting a shortcode within a shortcode

Hey,

I am using two plugins that use shortcodes. The plugins are WP Bootstrap Tabs and Smart Testimonails

I want to insert the testimonial shortcode into the tabs shortcode so I can have categories in various tabs on the page. The problem is that the testimonial shortcode doesn’t trigger within the tabs shortcode, how can I make the shortcode work within a shortcode?
