Inserting Ads with WP-Insert – Problems

  • Hello, I’m trying to insert ads into the Expound theme with WP-insert. I’ve managed to insert Good Adsense, but I’m trying to add affiliate links.

    I pasted the link code into the Manage Ad Widget area and activated it, then added that Ad Widget in the widget section.

    The Adsense ad displays, but the affiliate ad does not. I’m trying to load ads from Bluehost, Linkshare, and W4. Tried several different Bluehost ads, and none work.

    Do I need a different plugin? Have I missed a step?

  • I just paste my affiliate and Google ad code into plain old text widgets. Seems to work just fine ??

    Not sure what the plugin does that the above method doesn’t.

    Hi 2ninerniner2,

    Pasting into widgets worked fine, too, with Adsense. But when I called Bluehost, they told me I need to hire a web developer. That’s why I installed the WP-insert. I’ll head over there, WPyogi (great screen name!), thanks!
