Inserting Blog into Homepage of website

  • Hi – I am new to wordpress. How do I insert the blog into the center of my home page of my website so it is integrated into it.

    I want to insert it in the middle of home page (I have text above and on both sides – it would go within that then stretch as far down as needed – by the way, I have 2 other questions

    can I set how many days a post stays on blog before going into history, and how

    how do I schedule posts – so today is tuesday but I want it to appear next week on a given date / time

    Moshu – that ansered some of the questions. Thanks

    What I didn’t get is the thread as it seemed to have other things – still not clear about how to have the blog inserted into the middle (with top and both right / left text – then blog in that and extending downward….

    Any ideas?

    Hi Moshu – actually, I did follow that link as well as #4 – what I should have commented is that I read the article but due to no knowlege of php, didn’t really understand the article. I’ve done very little of my own work at this point – have a friend who can help out – this is in dreamweaver – maybe he will understand the more technical end of this. I’m not sure as he is learning as well.

    I will see what next week brings – integrating it in is the only real question I am facing at the moment – the rest of my questions seem to be ironing out and I think I will get the feed / audio into podcast stuff – it’s just this aspect of bringing the two together.
