Inserting image error, texts works fine.

    This is my first inquiry in the forums trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.
    I’ve been trying to find a solution from other threads but I have not found one that helped me solve my problem.

    Basically I am trying to insert an image to a page, but as soon as I click update it gives me an Error 406 or 404 on my page depending on Theme. If I only post texts the page displays properly just without a picture.

    Info that might help you help me (from what I’ve read in other posts):

    no plugins are running (still very early days)
    problem exists with all types of themes: 2016, 2015 and other third party themes
    my hostserver is running php version 5.5.32, host provider hostpapa
    images uploaded to the media library
    tried different image resolutions, formats (.png/.jpg) problem remains
    tried to see if it was only the dront page but problem remains on all pages

    I have even completely reinstalled wordpress and still have not found a solution.

    The featured image tool does work but in this instance I do not want to make use of that.

    With my luck I am sure it will be something obvious that I have missed but I feel like I’ve exhausted every option except for posting here.
