I’m an admin on my website. When I insert a new image in a post, it gets linked automatically (if someone click on it he’s redirected at /wp-content/uploads/2016/02/image-name.jpg). This doesn’t happen for my authors or other users (which are admins too). If they insert an image, the image then come without a link to it. Why? How can I solve this?

Thank you a lot in advance for any reply!

  • Try User Role Editor Plugins to manage user capabilities

    Hi Klaymen,

I think that this could be a default option when you insert the image.
If you are editing a post, click on “add media” button and you will see all the images on the library.

When selecting one to insert, you can see an option to link it down to the right. If you select “Link to none” I think that next time that you will insert another image that will be your default option.

Let me know if that helps!
