• I have created a theme for my blog however I need to be able to lay it out in a way I cant resolve.

The page the user see’s when they hit the blog is a custom theme, however the main content area has 3 columns. One for calendar events, one column for blog posts from 1 category, and another column for blog posts from another category.

Now the problem I have is that I need to use a static page created in WP to do this as index.php is the page that shows all the blog posts?

I created a page in WP called home and set this as my static home page. My page.php layout only has one large column as this is what is required by my other page, obviously my homepage needs 3 columns so needs a different layout.

Is there anyway of doing this? If anyone has an Instant Messenger so I can resolve this problem asap I would be grateful.

    Thanks
