Inserting lots of images into post

Hello!
I’d like to insert about 20-30 images into a post – I can upload all of them very easily but then I have to “show” each one and then click “insert into post”. Is there any easy/quicker way of doing this?

I’d like the post to have the image plus text. Even a gallery plugin would be useful but the images would need to be scattered throughout the post.
