    Dear Sir / Madam,

I was wondering if it will be possible in the future to insert a new row like the way Excel handles this? For example, I would really like the possibility to insert a new row directly below one.

Currently a new row in WPdatatables always goes to the bottom of the table, which causes me to have to select the whole table and manually move everything down for me to be able to use the new row.

    Kind regards,
    Sammi?l

    Hello there.

At the moment, what you’re looking for to achieve is only possible with the “Simple Table” table type.

All other table types will add the row at the bottom, and at the moment there’s no way to change that behavior.

This is inherited from the datatables.net jQuery plugin, so it’s not something that’s easy to fix, but we’ll add it to our “Suggestions” list, so it’s looked at in the future.

    Kind regards.
