Hi Tom. I am trying to use this method to show a popup on my site. But when I put the code inside navigation using the generate_inside_navigation hook, the menu is wrapped up in the ‘modal’ class (checked using inspect element) and it appears hidden. In fact, the whole <-Inside navigation-> is wrapped in the ‘modal’ class https://prntscr.com/qfljmw. Even increasing priority does not help. How to resolve this?

Okay. I removed the header using the PHP code in the documentation and it removed the h1 tag as well. But I have the site name hooked inside the navigation. If I may ask, Is it only on the homepage that the logo is an h1? I set the site name to h1 on the homepage and as a link on other areas (posts, pages, archives, search page, error 404 pages, etc).

Your site title is only an H1 on the posts page (blog), as all other pages have the H1 inside the actual page content.

Okay. My posts page is the homepage. But I found archive pages have the page header as h1. So If I understand you correctly, only the homepage should be h1 in my case?

Yes, only the home page will set the site title as an H1, and only if it’s the posts page. Otherwise, the H1 element will be in the content.
