Ever since around the time of the latest WordPress update (though I’m using the Classic Editor), posts to Instagram and Flickr aren’t being posted, and I’m having to post them manually.

    Instagram’s error message reads –

Your post could not be posted, because your image is not available.

    …and Flickr’s error message reads –

Your post could not be posted.

I’ve tried signing in to the networks to re-authorise them, but Yahoo (Flikr) says it’s all ok, then still gives the error message, and Instagram refuses to let me check my details – the box opens and closes immediately before anything can be checked.

    Are these known issues?

    Hello @steveraven,

currently it looks as if the image for your blog post can not be found. This seems to be the reason for causing this behaviour. Therefore you do not need to renew the connection to Instagram and Flickr at the moment. It would be great if you could tell us how you publish the picture. Do you use the preview mask of Blog2Social to publish your post?

It would be great if you could send us the answers to these questions to customer-service(at)blog2social(dot)com and our IT will get back to you.

    Hi,

Well I really don’t know then.

All I’m doing is posting the featured image, which gets picked up fine by Twitter, Facebook and the like, but Instagram and Flikr insist that there’s no image available, when I know 100% that it IS available, as when I post the exact same image to Instagram and Flikr manually, it goes straight up.

    What’s a ‘preview mask?’

All I do is go to ‘posts and sharing’, click on the new post to share, and share it over all the networks.

    All sorted!

The support team got back to me and said that images couldn’t be posted from the above two accounts due to me having enabled ‘hotlink protection’ in Cloudflare.

After disabling it, all works swimmingly now!
