Instagram Badge

  • Hello
    I have a Social Media Widget and all buttons working fine linking to SM.

    Instagram however is proving to be a problem. I have got the link but cannot display the badge even though I have used the generated code from IG.

    No-one can see the link but I know it is there as when I hover over where it should be and click, I am taken to my IG profile! It is like a ‘ghost’ link.

    How do I get the IG badge alongside the other SM badges please?

    Frustrated!

    Are you adding this via a plugin? If so, which one? If not, how?

    I have Social Media Widget which shows badges for all SM except IG. so I opened the ‘Custom’ part and placed all the links URLs there as per all the others.

    when you look at my site, all other SM badges are displayed and link to relevant sites, however IG badge is not displayed but there is a place where there is clearly a link to my IG page and does. It is seen as a ‘ghost’ badge on mobile devices but you cannot see it on my site.

    So I went to my IG account and under settings, saw badges, chose the size I wanted got the code and put it in the right place on my SM widget, but still the badge does not show. And still there is a place where it should be and when you hover over that space there is a link to my IG profile, just no badge!!!

    Hope this makes sense?
