    Hi @sayantansdas,

I see you mentioned having issues finding your Instagram Business account when connecting your Facebook account. Can you share with us your website’s URL so we can look closely?

    Hi @sayantansdas

Thanks for pasting that. I have checked your website, and found that the Jetpack connection there was broken, and the Jetpack Social feature heavily relies on it to work correctly.

Before looking into the Instagram Business account selection, the Jetpack connection issue needs to be resolved first. I do see that it is happening because of some timeouts coming from your website’s server.

Please reach out to your hosting provider and have them whitelist our IP ranges that they can find below:

    https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-add-jetpack-ips-allowlist/

If you also have a security firewall or any security plugin installed on your website, adding our ranges to a whitelist would help.

i had disabled jetpack because it wasn’t working. I’ve now enabled it. pleaes check now and let me know if you’re able to reach jetpack

    Hi @sayantansdas

I still see the errors since disabling/re-enabling Jetpack won’t resolve it, as your hosting provider has to whitelist our IP ranges for the communication to work correctly.

    Hey @sayantansdas,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Hi @stef, My apologies for the late response. yes, my provider has finally added the ips. can you please check now?

    Hi @sayantansdas,

The Jetpack connection is looking better than previously there. Are you able to test whether you are finding your Instagram page Business account?

    (@sayantansdas)

I tried. it gave me the same error. no business account associated

    Hi @sayantansdas,

Can you send us a screencast of the steps you are taking there, from start to finish? Also before sending that one, can you confirm if you have taken the steps here previously? You can upload the screencast anywhere you’d like, and share a link with us.

as you can see it’s a professional profile and it is connected with Facebook page too.

It should pick up the Facebook user but it doesn’t

    Hi @sayantansdas,

Thank you for your continued patience. Based on the situation, I recommend a fresh start to ensure that all necessary permissions are set correctly, which can sometimes resolve these elusive issues.

    Here’s what to do:

    1. Go to your Facebook Page’s settings, navigate to the Apps and Websites section, and remove Jetpack from the list of connected apps: https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=business_tools
    2. Clear the cache from your web browser to avoid any cached data interfering with the process.
    3. Revisit the connection process with Jetpack Social, carefully allowing all the requested permissions when prompted.

This will ensure that Jetpack is granted the permissions it needs to manage your Instagram Business account effectively. Often, a clean slate can make all the difference.

Please try these steps and let me know how it goes.

    Best regards
