instagram doesn’t want to connect

    Hi!

    I work for a small webshop. With the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin I’m trying to connect our facebook account and our instagram account to woocommerce, but when following the steps I recieve this error message: “The selected page is addociated with an existing shop that differs from the shop associated with this instagram account”.

    We haven’t added a shop to the facebook account yet because it wants us to add products and we want to add these products via this plugin and this plugin seems to not be able to finish the setup because we have no shop set up yet, so it’s a loop.

    Or maybe the problem may be that we did add a link to our instagram shop page and we should’ve done that via facebook? We seem to be unable to delete this shop tho.

    Could also very well be that we misunderstand this situation completely, so I really hope you can help us out.

    Thanks for reaching out for support with Facebook for WooCommerce.

    It appears there is some sort if account mixup. Please review your Facebook business account details at business.facebook.com. Go to Settings > Instagram Connection to view or connect your Instagram account to the Facebook Business account.

    Once the accounts are connected, try to reconnect Facebook for WooCommerce.
