Hi, my Instagram feed was working perfectly, but now it doesn’t display on my website. I’ve tried refreshing my access token and re-authenticating, but it still won’t show. Could this be related to a recent Instagram API update?

    Hi @mirrowdesign,

It is possible that the recent Instagram API update triggered your feed to disconnect. However, renewing the feed access token should resolve the issue. If reconnecting is not working, please try the steps below:

    1. If you connected with an Instagram Business Basic profile, visit the following Instagram settings URL:?https://www.instagram.com/accounts/manage_access/
If you connected as a Business profile, visit the following Facebook URL while logged in to your personal profile:?https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=business_tools.
    2. Next to the Smash Balloon Social app, click “View and Edit” and ensure all permissions are toggled on.
    3. Click Save changes

Next, follow the steps below on your website:

    • Please go to?WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings
      >?Remove the connected account(s) by clicking the red trash icon.
    • Click the Save Settings button.
    • Click the?Add Source?button, click the blue?Connect?button, and follow the connection wizard.
    • For any existing or legacy feed, go to the?specific feed options > Settings > Sources,?delete the existing source, select the newly connected source, and click “Save”. Screencast:?https://a.supportally.com/v/2UPrPY

This should fix the issue; if it does not, or if you have any other questions, let me know.

    Regards ??

@mirrowdesign have you checked the console in the browser to see what error message is being shown, if any?

In the settings for the plugin, it will flag the account whether you need to connect as a Business account – if it does, do that and then flush any caches on the server/website and the feed should work for you.
