On the user-facing page we see the error “Instagram requires authorization to view a user profile. Use autorized account in widget settings”.

On the admin side, under Appearance > Widgets, we see a PHP error “Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home4/thislik1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/instagram-slider-widget/includes/class-wis_instagram_slider.php on line 271”

We have seen similar “count()” errors before in other plugins and it usually indicates a PHP incompatibility with version 7.2 or higher.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello.

You need to connect your account in the PLUGIN settings, and then select this account in the widget settings.

This error is just because of this. In theory, it should not be visible if the PHP error log is disabled. We will remove it in the next update. This has nothing to do with compatibility with PHP 7.2.
