    Hello @bobmatyas.

    Have you any further news about Instagram auto-sharing? There are plugins like Blog2social already doing it with support of mentions, hashtags etc.

    Hi there, @aclys,

    Unfortunately there aren’t new developments in adding Instagram in Publicize.

    We had a Github issue that’s been closed at the moment: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/1870

    There are some blockages from Meta to overcome which seem to be opening a little: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-api/guides/content-publishing/?translation

    With that said, we still can’t tell whether this feature will be implemented. I recommend subscribing to our blog to get the latest news as they are out: https://jetpack.com/blog/

    The Instagram feature available in Jetpack remains the widget: https://jetpack.com/support/extra-sidebar-widgets/instagram-widget/

    Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or doubts, and we’re happy to assist you.

    @erania-pinnera Thanks for the reply.

    It helps understanding the problem, yes. It doesn’t help understand why the plugin blog2social has it already implemented and you need to overcome stuff. The widget isn’t what I am looking for, though.

    And the github issues’ last post says, it is possible for business accounts. So, you could start implementing it.

    I see you updated the Github issue for adding Instagram. At this time, that is the best place to comment on the feature. We don’t have any current plans to implement the feature.

    If you require this functionality, you will need to use a different plugin at this time.

    @bobmatyas Did I update?

    Too bad you have no plans, because you’re now able to do it with an official API.

    If I was satisfied with the other plugin’s functionality, I would.
