Instagram videos only show camera icon, but photos show as expected

    We have a hashtag search set up and all of the images show perfectly in the feed, but the videos simply show a camera icon instead. If you click on them it takes you to the proper Instagram video page.

    If this is by design (or Instagram limitation) is there an easy way for me to not show any videos in our feed?

    I’ve attempted disabling all of the site’s plugins and it did not resolve the issue.

    hi @dandawson,

    thanks for choosing Instagram Feed WD plugin.

    There is another problem on your site now. AJAX request for Instagram cached data returns HTTP 403 – forbidden. Please check what is going on there, perhaps something has been changed in your server config.

    Thanks for the info on the 403, is there a URL I call to test this myself so I would know when my changes fix it? I run Wordfence, do you think that is blocking your AJAX requests?

    It is possible that WordFence blocks AJAX requests, if not configured properly.
    When browsing this page https://shop.mounthermon.org/, please open developer tools – network -> XHR filter.

    Both requests to admin-ajax.php are blocked.

    I am having this same issue on multiple sites, videos not working in my feed:

    I do not see a resolution here. My AJAZ seems fine, so I dont think that is the issue, at least for me:

    Unfortunately, now it only allows bringing media from the Instagram account of the user, which is authenticated in Instagram Feed WD plugin. It is not possible to fetch feeds from other public accounts. Maybe the video is from another private account.

    Nope, sorry, it’s my account. Just the videos are not showing. Is an issue with the way your plugin pulls in data from videos. Dan and I are having the same exact issue. I’m having it on multiple websites that use your plugin. All the same issue.

    Thanks for your earlier replies @wdteam, I did some checking and I’m not seeing the same AJAX blocks you were seeing on the page. and like @mmr1234, I confirm these are coming from our own authenticated Instagram account.
