    no instagram feed shows up in the instagram widget area.. I have tried using many different plugins but none of them work

    Please try to use theme recommended plugins for that, navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Abot Bard > Recommended Plugins.
    If you want the Instagram for the sidebar to install and activate the plugin “WP Instagram Widget” for the slider Instagram “Instagram Slider Widget”
