Install and Configure WordPress on IIS in Virtual machine

  • Hi Team,

    I am trying to install WordPress on Windows Server 2019 machine using IIS. For this I have installed IIS first then Web Platform Installer is also installed. Now I am trying to download and configure the WordPress from Web Platform Installer. But I am not able to download the same hence I am stuck here. Please let me know if anyone gone through such type of issue.

    What SPECIFIC error are you getting?

    Not able to install on server machine. Web platform installer not able to download anything. The server machine is having a limited Internet access. I thing due to limited access its not able to install. What do you think ??

    To deploy a PHP website on a Windows hosting, you have to go through 2 steps below:

    Step 1: Configure IIS to compile PHP source code.

    Step 2: Install MySQL database management system.
