Install before theme results in site CRASH

I have installed this launcher plugin first on my site and after it was active and enabled, in trying to install or change a theme the pplugin crashes my whole site with an Error 500 which doesnt let the site load anymore nor allow the wordpress login to come up. After this i have to trash the entire site directory and start over. Where are the directions on what needs to be done in order to utilize this plugin? If I have to disable it every time I am changing a theme then its not hiding anything. I only see instructions for initial install. Help!
