Install both a blog and a photo gallery

  • I am quite new and tried to put some random things on my site.
    I want to have the following elements on my site:

    A number of blogs consisting of:
    – Travel diary
    – One where I am at home and discuss diffent themes

    A photo gallery

    Now my questions is: Right now I need to make a travel diary. But can I do that first and then later add more blogs and a photo gallery? Or must I prepare for them all before i begin?

  • Sure! You can continue creating blog entries and add more topics later by simply creating categories, then add menu links to these different categories.

    Another option, is to register a separate domain name for each blog. Most quality web hosts allow you to add more domain names to your account and then you could have multiple domains with their own instance of WordPress installed.

    Thanks a lot, don’t know yet if it helps ??
    But maybe you have seen that I have some unserious stuff on it now. Can I just remove these files to begin from scratch – or has WP also used my MySQL?

    What I mean is: Can I just use a ftp manager to remove the files -or has WP also used my MySQL, so that I can’t just remove them?
