Install on New PC from iPad

  • Hi and I’m sorry to post this question because it’s truly a self-inflicted issue.

    I purchased a new PC and hastily backed-up files without thinking of transferring software. Then I left the country for an extended period leaving the old PC there. So, I do not have wordpress on this computer nor access to the downloaded software from the old pc. I DO have the WordPress app on another machine, an iPad Mini, and I can access all of the features from there. My theme is integrated, the plugins are working, etc. https://www.tobendlight.com

    My question: Is there a way to download wordpress to the new pc and get whatever configuration files I need from the iPad to make things work on the pc? I’d rather work wordpress off of the pc then the iPad.

    Clearly, I’m not a computer guy, so detailed/step-by-step would be appreciated.

  • That should be possible from what I understand but the only way to find out is to download and install the app.

    Can you clarify this, please? Are you referring to hosting WordPress locally? Or just working on your tobendlight.com site? Only the latter is all online, so the only things that you need to work on that site is your username and password.
