install problem

    After uploading the shortcodes-ui folder into my plug directory as per normal, and clicking the activate link in the plug-ins page. I get a server error that the server may be down (which its not as the public site loads) and the plug-ins page wont load. Reloading does no good. When I try to go to the dashboard i get an internal server error:
    HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

    When i delete the shortcodes-ui folder from my plug-ins directory all back to normal. I tried re-uploading and activating again with the same results.

    My virtually hosted server is running PHP 5.2.6 and I am on WP 3.5.1. I guess there must be a conflict with another plug-in. I am not running any other shortcode making plugin, but a whole range of other other plug ins.

    Any ideas?

    Nope, try deactivating other plugins and activate them back one by one to find the conflicting one, and let me know
