Install problem(s) ?

Hi, I have downloaded the latest version and folloed all the instructions (as far as I can tell), but I get this error on my page:

Warning: require(/home/shawnwoo/public_html/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/shawnwoo/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 21

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/shawnwoo/public_html/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/shawnwoo/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 21

Anyone know what I can do to resolve this? Sidenote, this is my first time installing WordPress so total newb here.
