the only way I can reach mi home page, is if i change thr url, on the wordpress administrator to the one its for default https://www.confianzacontable.com/wp.

In other word i want the web you see on this url: https://www.confianzacontable.com/wp
to be seen on this url: https://www.confianzacontable.com
I read the tutorial I pasted on my question and it would not work.

wordpress stores permanent links in the database.

If you have been working from “www.mydomain.com/wp” and changed it to “www.mydomain.com” you need to change all entries in the database to reflect the new URL.

Beware: Some data is stored as serialized array, therefore I recommend using a plugin, which can handle this stuff. Search for “migrate” or “migration”.

    Hello Thanks for answering,

I find a plugin, that it says it will migrate and change every URL, but I dont thinks thats what i need, reading on the pluging, this is more to export your database from servers from pre production to production and so on,

I want wat it says on this link, https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
This is exactly what I need, but for some reason it does not seems to be working, the plugin, seem like too much trouble wich i will glady try but i would like to know if there is a simple way before i Risk all what iv done.

    Thanks,

I want the part that says: // Using a pre-existing subdirectory install // this is exactly wat i want but i follow every step and it wont work ??
