install wordpress on a french "free" personal website: Do the "." in a user name

Hi,

I’m french, and I’m trying to install wp on a free platform called “free”, my user name is “pogo.is”.

Do the “.” in a user name can cause any pb? Here what I obtain trying to repair the tables right after installation:

wp_usermeta: Table 'pogo_is.wp_usermeta' doesn't exist
