Install wordpress subdirectory

    I have a Joomla site and a WordPress blog on the same domain. The both work well with Cloudflare.
    I want to replace the Joomla site with WordPress, but before I do, I am trying to install a fresh install of WordPress in a subdirectory (my domain/domain_test.
    The problem starts with install (no formatting in install window), then the install runs fine, but the site is again without formatting and I cannot log in wp-admin.
    I tried the install a few times, with fresh WordPress downloads but without result.
