Installation Checklist (am i doing this right?)

  • Here is the deal, we currently have a blog through tumblr with a domain through go daddy.

    We purchased wordpress value bundle.
    We purchased hosting through go daddy and installed.
    We purchased a theme from templatemonster.com and are awaiting them to install it.

    Currently, we have wp set at https://www.ourwebsite.com/wordpress with hopes that we can change the url to just https://www.ourwebsite.com when we are ready to move over to wp from tumblr.

    My question is if I’m doing this right? I know I still need to set up godaddy to point to the wp and not tumblr but other than that should this all work correctly?
