• I have uploaded Word Press to my public_html folder on my site, within a directory named Personal and blog1 -so it looks like so:

    https://www.whiplashdesign.com/Personal/blog1/wp-admin/install.php

I have done, re-done, re-done again the wp-config.php file. I even talked to my ISP to be sure I have the right settings, and to be double sure I have mysql access with those settings.

But – it still won’t “install.” Am I officially going mad? Tis telling me that it cannot connect to the server: “Error establishing a database connection”

I apologize for the bold mistake!

Did you delete it, because it isn’t finding that folder for me.

But if it is giving you a database connection error, then your config isn’t right, or your database isn’t working, or something.

Weird, the whole page is bold!
