Installation Error on XAMPP

    This is the error am getting trying to install WordPress 4.4.2 via XAMPP

    wp_posts: Table ‘wordpress.wp_posts’ doesn’t exist
    wp_options: Table ‘wordpress.wp_options’ doesn’t exist
    wp_postmeta: Table ‘wordpress.wp_postmeta’ doesn’t exist

    It seems to be a problem with the connection to the database, or database creation.

    Can you see those tables with PHPMyAdmin? Surelly https://localhost/phpmyadmin

    Most times I create the table for wordpress to link to but still it faills

    Can you confirm by checking your phpMyAdmin to see that the database contains these tables. Otherwise, I’ve found myself deleting the wp-config.php file and navigating to the WordPress folder from a browser to re-enter db info.
