I recently reinstalled GiveWP on our website as we had previously removed this because of errors. When we reinstalled it, we received an error in the “Database Updates” table under “Data” in the “Tools” menu. We attempted to rerun “Delete give_logs and give_logmeta tables” but it failed again referring to You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1.
As it stands now, GiveWP is not fully installed as three additional items remain on the list as “Pending“.
    How do we fix this?
    Thank you.

    Hi @jahrat,

    Happy to help.

Without having the full context of what exactly is causing the database error here’s what I would do in your position:

    – Export the donations using GiveWP export tool.
    – Write down your donation form settings.
    – Go to Donations -> Settings -> Advanced -> Remove Data on Uninstall, and select Yes, Remove all data.
    – Deactivate and delete GiveWP from your plugins page
    – Make sure all GiveWP-related tables are gone from the database.
    – Reinstall GiveWP and import your donations. You can also manually add them using our Manual Donations add-on and cross-referencing the payment information in Stripe. This process will vary in the time it takes depending on how many donations you have – in other words: the more donations, the longer it will take.
    – Importing the donations should also create the donation form again but you can also manually add it if needed.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hello @mrdaro
I ran the updates requested. There is still one failure. I sent you a print of the error log for it via email.
    Please advise what next.
    Thanks.
