Installation failed: folder already exists.

    Hi there,

    I want to create a form using WP Forms (which I had as a plugin previously), however it’s no longer in my active Plugin’s section.

    Today I’ve tried to install the plug-in (again) and an error message came up with:
    Installation failed: Destination folder already exists. this makes me think the plugin has been corrupted somewhere down the line.

    How do I uninstall this (as I can’t see it in my Plugin section or anywhere in the WordPress admin area) and then re-install successfully.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks for contacting us!

    When you see this error, it’s generally because the WPForms lite plugin folder is already on the site — but for some reason doesn’t get recognized within WordPress.
