• Installing WordPress on a server with PHP Version 5.2.6 and the latest version of mySQL. Created db, uploaded files, edited wp-config and I’m stuck! I click “Install WordPress” and it brings up install.php as if I was downloading it. My server parses php just fine everywhere else and I’ve checked to make sure the files were uploaded correctly in ASCII. Please let me know if anyone has the fix for this! Thanks in advance!!

I would also like to note that when using Internet Explorer that the download prompt doesn’t show, but instead a “page cannot be displayed” error

I’ve been having exactly the same problem. As yet nobody seems to have come up with a solution, so I’d be most grateful for an answer to this, too.
