Installation instructions steps 1-3, activating plugins order?

  • Ih ave a question regarding the installation instructions:

    From installation instructions page:

    1. Upload storymaps to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory & activate
    2. Upload advanced custom fields or advaned custom fields pro to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory & activate
    3. Activate StoryMaps
    ——————-

    When should Storymaps plugin be activated before activating Advanced Custom Fields plugin (as in step 1) or (after as in step 3) or should it possibly read de-activate and re-activate… should it matter?

    I’ve tried activating this plugin on roughly 5 sites, so far it has worked on one of those five. The content type of story maps, categories brings up all the categories, and not just those for Storymaps. so I feel like part of the problem is something to do with categories possibly.

    Would activating Advanced Custom Fields first create any problems?
    Initially, that was the order I tried testing the plugin on some of the sites, it did not run on.
