Installation -Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING

    Hi I just installed the plugin and when I went to activate it, I received the following:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/60/8609160/html/members/wp-content/plugins/simple-membership/classes/class.swpm-auth.php on line 351

    Can anyone offer some assistance or help on how I can resolve this in order to activate and use the plugin. Thanks.

    Hi, this error is probably caused by your server running and old PHP version. Can you find out what PHP version your server is currently using?

    I found the solution thank you. Just upgrade your php to 5.6. It works fine then.
