    This could be an issue with PHP configuration or permission issue. So upgrade to recommend PHP version by the WordPress package to which you are trying to upgrade. Then update WordPress.

    If it still fails you can upgrade manually. In order to upgrade manually, take a backup of current WordPress, then download latest version of WordPress and replace wp-incudes and wp-admin directories of the old WordPress installation with the new one. Do not delete or replace wp-content folder and wp-config.php file in order to keep your data and database configuration. You can refer the following WordPress blog documentation for more information.

    Hi beryl1,

    If it wasn’t a PHP issue, can you please explain how you solved your issue?

    Thanks,
    Adeline

    I purchased a theme I really liked and installed it and began to install the recommended plugins. Got this error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted

    Now what?

    Backbutton on browser gives more similar errors.

    To Ketter1, we are happy to help but please make a new post for this issues since it is a new problem. Including as much background information as you can that might be relevant, such as who is hosting your website.

    Not sure if it’s possible but can a moderator move Ketter1’s post under Themes and Templates?

    @adeline This thread doesn’t belong to @ketter1.
    Edit: Oh no you can’t move posts individually.

    @ketter1, You need to talk to the people who sold you this product. It’s not something we support.
