Installation Problem

  • Hi,

    I’m Getting this Error while installing the plugin :

    Installation failed: Could not copy file. amazon-auto-links/include/core/component/admin/setting/admin_page/default/page_meta_box/AmazonAutoLinks_AdminPage_Setting_Default_PageMetaBox_CommonAdvanced.php

    Hi,

    Is your site running on a Windows server? If so check the installation location and its path. If the path is too long, such problem occurs. If I recall correctly, it was 256 character length or something.

    I have the problem to make backups of your plugin because of too long paths. Please shorten the filenames.

    amazon-auto-links/include/core/component/admin/setting/admin_page/default/page_meta_box/AmazonAutoLinks_AdminPage_Setting_Default_PageMetaBox_CommonAdvanced.php
    are not necessary, right? ??

    Why not just
    amazon-auto-links/include/core/component/admin/setting/admin_page/default/page_meta_box/CommonAdvanced.php
    ?
