Installation Problem

  • I setup config file, and create db but when I write my email and description (in step 3 install) I get empty page.

    I try install wordpress with fantastico and manuali but cant finish intalatin.

    php version (onserver) is 4.4.0

    I read some topics but I did not find the answer.

    I trying install last ver of wordpress.

  • What does your server logs have to say. Check for the times your were trying to setup wp, are there any errors.

    I have this kind of error:
    550 Can’t check for file existence

    In step 3 install.php cant execute, I can only download this install.php

    Try uploading your files again. Make sure if your using ftp to make sure the mode is ascii not binary.

    I try ascii and 20 times upload new files ??

    try deleting all the old files and then upload a fresh copy of the files.

    I try that many times, I have old ver. on my computer 2.1.3, I was install this ver. on my old hosting and everything was ok, but on this hosting does not work (same problem).

    Mabey my hosting is not ok???
    I will try to email my hosting support ??

    Problem was in hosting, I change hosting, first hosting have installed older ver of php.
