Installation Problem?

  • I just uploaded the files, and I get this message: “Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.”

    I’m using a server with Windows, from GoDaddy hosting. I have no idea how to update the PHP installation files, etc.

    Could someone please help me out, ASAP?

  • This is a hosting issue, contact GoDaddy support. Perhaps you should switch to one of their Linux plans.

    GoDaddy has all you need for WordPress. Use their stuff. My guess is that uploading WP from the outside doesn’t connect with all the other pieces that are required.
