    Dear WordPress Friends,

I would like to install the NextGen Gallery Plugin but I keep getting
    the same fatale error:

Warning: load_dependencies(/home/www/brussee.awardspace.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/admin/media-upload.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/brussee.awardspace.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggallery.php on line 243

Fatal error: load_dependencies(): Failed opening required ‘/home/www/brussee.awardspace.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/admin/media-upload.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php4/share/pear’) in /home/www/brussee.awardspace.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggallery.php on line 243

It sucks because this file is installed! I have given all the files writing permission, and this still doesn’t help! The strange thing about it is that it is complaining about the media-upload.php file this time, but this can change in other files as well. I checked it a couple times and all the files are uploaded correct!

I love the features of this plugin but I can’t stand it that I can’t use it! So please help me to solve this problem!

    David

PS. I’ve found the following topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/216231?replies=8 So I tryed to open the index file in the nextgen-gallery folder. This is a empty file… total blank and not .php this can’t be right can it?

Hmm couldn’t edit the pervious post anymore but skip the last lines about the index file of the plugin, thats not relevant I think.

I have find another post: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/214425?replies=20 talking about PHP4 or PHP5 the error should be in this corner? Could any one tell me how to see which version of PHP I use and how to change this? And is this really the source of this problem? WordPress itselfs runs fine!

    Thanks, David

Well, I found out that the MySQL version that I use is MySQL 4. The PHP version is 4.4.1! Any idea how this could infect the plugin and what to change?
